Who is eligible to play in FCLL in the Spring?

All boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 13 are eligible to play.  Use the Little League Age Calculator to confirm your child's Little League Age.

Can I play in FCLL if I live outside the FCLL boundaries?

Yes, but you must live inside the league boundary to participate for All Stars.

Our child has never played baseball before. Can he or she still play in FCLL?

Yes. We encourage players of all skill level to come play in Little League baseball. Your child will play with players of his or her own age.

When is the draft and who is my coach?

Player drafts will take place after registration closes.  The managers of teams at FCLL are appointed by the league president. All players should hear from their new manager within a day or so after their draft is concluded.

My child and his best friend both want to play on the same team. Can we request this?

In general, no you cannot.  By way of the draft system, the league strives to achieve, as best as possible parity in skills among the teams. In the lower levels of T-Ball and Rookie 6 playing with a friend is possible.

I want my child to play for a particular coach. Can I request this?

I do not want my child to play for a particular coach. Can I request this?

Yes – Little League rules allow this. You may make such a request to the player agent for your age division.

How do I volunteer to be a manager, coach or team mom?

You will have a chance to volunteer during the registration process prompts.

What will the uniform consist of for the Season?

The uniform for the spring will be the jersey, hat, socks, and belt.

What equipment does my child need to play Little League?

  • Baseball Glove
  • Athletic supporter with a hard cup (Boys)
  • Baseball Bat
  • Baseball Socks
  • Baseball Pants
  • Non-metal Cleats

League Provided

  • Team Shirt
  • Team Hat
  • Baseball Socks
  • Belt
  • Catching Gear (1 set for team, players can bring their own if they choose)
  • Batting Helmets (2 for team, players are encouraged to bring their own if they choose)

Optional but Recommended

  • Batting Helmet
  • Sliding shorts
  • Batting Gloves
  • Gear Bag
  • Water Jug

Will the uniform shirt be the correct size for my child?

Hopefully, yes. Because of the lead time involved in ordering uniforms for over 500 players, the league has to place uniform shirt orders before even the teams are drafted. Each team gets shirts of varying sizes and it has not been a problem to outfit players in the past.

How do I become a sponsor for FCLL?

Please see the sponsorship form which is available under the “Sponsorship” tab of this web site. You should send the completed form to our Director of Sponsorships.

As you know, FCLL is run by volunteers.  We always need managers for our teams and we are desirous to get this process done early.  If you are interested in managing your player’s team this season we will waive your player’s registration for the team you manage.  Once we finalize teams we will provide a refund.  Managing a team is a truly rewarding experience.  If you have any questions on this, please let us know.

Please help us spread the word about registration for the upcoming season by passing this email along to parents of your child's classmates, your friends and neighbors, and any others who might be interested in being a part of our league.
